What do items placed (or not placed) in our bathrooms say about our cultural values? In this material world, the goods we place around us say a great deal about who we are and who we desire to be. These photographs look at objects in the W.C.'s. of American Protestant churches. The furnishing of their stalls can reveal both gender values and the role of community in these religious institutions.
