Solo photography exhibition When The House Burns Down by Deborah Lash.

The series follows two children throughout the summer in an empty world devoid of people and possessions. The exhibition explores the texture and nuance of intimate relationships formed regardless of age or ethnicity.

Bio

Deborah Lash is a visual and performing artist working in the greater Washington, D.C. area. She was awarded an M.F.A. in Critical Art Practices at George Mason University in 2011. She has a B.A. in Spanish from Mason, and has completed a research fellowship in West Africa from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, as well as coursework at the National School of Bellas Artes in Mexico.
